Sarah Scorer, MSc
Senior Director, Head of Clinical Operations
Sarah is Head of Clinical Operations at Tangram Therapeutics. In this role, she leads the strategy, planning and delivery of Tangram’s clinical development programmes and builds the operational and governance frameworks needed to advance the company’s RNAi pipeline into and through the clinic.
Sarah brings more than 20 years of global clinical development experience across rare, neurodegenerative and high-complexity diseases, spanning neurology, psychiatry, oncology, ophthalmology and rare disease. Prior to Tangram, she held senior clinical leadership roles at Biogen, where she served as Director, Country and Site Operations, leading multi-partner Phase I–IV programmes across academic, NHS and industry networks; at Shire (acquired by Takeda), where she provided scientific and operational leadership across late stage pipeline programs; and at Oxford Biomedica, a gene therapy company, where she led advanced-therapy and rare-disease studies across the EU and US. Sarah earned an MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Cardiff and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University.
