Tangram Therapeutics Appoints Laura Roca-Alonso, Ph.D. as CEO and Board Director

London, UK, 30 September 2026 – Tangram Therapeutics (“Tangram”), a company committed to unlocking transformative RNAi medicines for meaningful patient impact, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Laura Roca-Alonso, Ph.D. as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director of the Board. Dr. Roca-Alonso has served as Interim CEO since March 2026, having previously been Tangram’s Chief Operating and Business Officer since 2020.

Dr. Roca-Alonso has broad-ranging scientific and corporate experience in genetic medicines, spanning strategy, business development, and operations from discovery to clinic. Over the past six years, she has been instrumental in transforming Tangram’s operating model and positioning, driving in-house platform development, portfolio building and pipeline progression into the clinic. Prior to joining Tangram, she held senior roles at Silence Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SLN) and Gyroscope Therapeutics (acquired by Novartis). Laura holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London.
